This single zone control has been designed to conform with the requirements of BS 3116 and BS 5839

For ease of installation and service, connections are made to a small rear mounted printed circuit board that also holds the battery and sounder fuses. The metal case has three point key-slot fixing with 20 mm conduit trunking top and bottom entry points
The detection zone is monitored with an end of line resistor to give fault and fire indications. They will monitor upto 35 low current smoke detectors and an infinite number of manual call points or other OC devices
The sounder circuits are fused and monitored for open and short circuits with an end of line resistor. Upto 20 low current sounders (25 mA) may be fitted
The power supply is fully monitored for failure, mains failure, battery failure, low voltage and battery disconnection
The user controls are enabled by means of a security keyswitch
Mute Sounders - mutes sounders and fault warning
Sound Alarm - to evacuate building or resound alarm
Reset (Test) - to reset control and detectors and test control
Indications are provided for mains power, zone fire, zone fault, sounder fault and power fault
Audible indications are provided for fire and fault
Printed circuit boards are available as new for spares

Features:
This control panel has been designed for the professional installer to conform with the requirements of BS 3116 and BS 5839, 1988
The master control unit can have from one to four zones extendable internally using plug in zone cards. The master control may be extended with 10-zone extender units and plug in zone cards
The modular system allows minimum stocking requirements, ease of service and maintenance, ease of system extension and future system upgrades
